FG Bans Slay Queens and Video Vixens from Posting Raunchy Photos on Instagram

The Tanzanian government has banned the posting of ‘nude pictures’ on social media. It appears the ban is currently aimed at the countries’ entertainment personalities. The report states that the Music Regulatory Board of Tanzania has summoned actress and singer Susan Michael, stage name Pretty Kind, to appear before them.

Her crime? Posting salacious snaps on Facebook, Instagram and Snapchat.

The ban means that an artist cannot perform music for six months or post on social platforms.

Pretty Kind apologised to the government and is now serving her ‘sentence’.

In 2017 the Tanzania Communications Regulatory Authority (TCRA) proposed the Electronic and Postal Communications (Online Content) Regulations, 2017, draft.

This meant that users would be held liable for posting content deemed “indecent, obscene, hate speech, extreme violence or material that will offend or incite others, cause annoyance, threaten, or encourage or incite crime, or lead to public disorder, per the law.”

Online radio, TV, bloggers and other digital platforms are required to register with the TCRA.

It appears the country has begun its moral crackdown on video vixens and socialites alike. However this is not the first something like this has happened on the African continent.

In 2015 Ugandan pop singer Jemimah Kansiime was arrested and jailed for wearing a short dress and bikini in her music video.

World’s Most Expensive Bottle of Vodka Gets Stolen

The theft of the bottle of vodka is currently being investigated by the Danish police.

The owner of the Copenhagen bar, Cafe 33, in which this expensive vodka was housed, Brian Inberg posted on Facebook about the disappearance of the bottle which was made made of gold, silver and a diamond-encrusted cap.

He shared a picture of the bottle with a couple of still images from their security footage of a man in a white baseball hat and a turtle neck sweater stealing the bottle from the bar.

Ingberg said in his Facebook post that someone entered Café 33 “with key” and stole the Russo-Baltique vodka. The bottle is believed to be worth about $1.3 million. It was produced by a car manufacturer called Dartz Motorz, based out of Latvia, according to Newsweek.

The bottle design is a nod to an early Russian carmaker that shut down production in 1917, following the Russian Revolution, Deutsche Welle reported.

One of the brand’s classic car models was carved into the bottle along with an inscription that read, “Family Relique Vodka Russo-Baltique.”

The bottle is apparently not insured and does not belong to the bar and/or its owner. It was loaned to them by a Russian Entrepreneur for show.

The Danish police investigator, Knud Hvass reported to the press that they are yet to discover how the thieves got access to the establishment.

Brian Inberg, according to his Facebook post is offering a reward for the return of the bottle or the capture of the thieves.
